Nice store! A welcomed addition to the East Lansing area. We are happy with the changes that have come under the new ownership.
People complain about the high prices, but for us it is about quality. I know I can trust that Whole Foods carries the kinds of products I want. I may be able to find the products I want, but end up driving all around Grand Rapids to find those things when I can just make that one hour drive and find them all in one place. Like sheep's milk feta. We love having a Whole Foods closer (used to drive 2.5 hours) so we can visit more often.
I love coming here to get healthy quick meals for the kids on busy sports nights. The entree options from the deli are delicious. They are pricey but not if you figure in the cost of your time and buying all of the ingredients. I even found cheeses here that I had on charcuterie plates in New Orleans and Hilton Head when I was on vacation so this tells me they keep up with the trends.
Friendly faces and a great selection, especially for those with allergies. I have begun to do my weekly grocery shopping here, and it doesn't seem like as much of a chore these days. Try ordering a pizza made fresh, or grabbing something from the cafe - you won't regret it. :)
This place is great...They seriously have the best cheese and organic products in town...And the workers are friendly enough and knowledgeable...I sometimes just make a trip so that I can feel like I am back in California or Europe...
