This "hospital" did unnecessary surgery on my sister's 12yr old dog for the $$ and ended up killing him . He died shortly after a "non invasive liver test" He was also anesthetized without our permission. He never recovered . I hope the $$$ (over 6k) was worth taking an innocent family members life .
This place has absolutely taken advantage of me for the last time. Brought my dog in told me it would be a price then I get there and it's 200$ more. Then they told me they can't figure out what's wrong and then tried to convince me to keep him there overnight for a 1000$+ bill. I will never ever go back here again literally every other vet is half the amount.
They killed my dog, and charged me thousands. Treated him like a POS. Drs. didn't even try to diagnose a very strong dog with one problem to fix due to their rotten care he got pneumonia in the hospital. then the Dr. who checked him out two weeks post op missed 5 red flags he had it. Then another Dr. refused to read his x rays even though it was arranged in advance. So he went a whole month without antibiotics which ulitmately killed him. Sad thing is this Dr. who was supposed to be in charge of his case stopped and didn't tell anyone not me or our regular vet. So he went untreated for a month knowing full well lack of treatment would probably mean death. Frankly I don't care about the money all I wanted was good medical care for my boy and they both negligently and in a premeditated way killed my dog. If this were a human hospital Dr. 1 would be brought up on malpractice charges and Dr. 2 premeditated murder.
STAY AWAY!
I want to give MSU veterinary center and Dr. Armstrong and Emily Thomas a shout out for doing an outstanding job of taking care of our baby Stella!!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! My Boyfriend and I took our 9 month old puppy here because he was limping on this front leg and wasn't able to walk. Being that we are both in college and don't have a whole lot of money we asked that they start with just do the basics to see what they could find. They came back and said that we NEEDED to do much more and were very pushy about it. They said that it would cost less then $600, reluctantly we did it because we felt we had no other option. They had us wait 2+ hours for everything to come back and then told us that what they were not 100% sure what he was diagnosed with, but gave us pain meds. and antibiotics to treat a number of things. They said we would get a final report within 24 hours because they were sending the x-rays onto someone else to read. Here we are almost a month later and we still have not heard a single thing from them. I ended up calling about the report and they said they forgot to send it. When I got it and read through it they mentioned in the report that they were unable to fully diagnose him because we did not have the money. I could keep going on about the horrible experience that we had, but I will leave you with this warning: This place is extremely expensive and you will pay a lot of money for very little results. They are not easy to work with and caused me more stress then anything. I would recommend looking somewhere else for vet care for your animal.
Thank you so much!!
