The location was very easy to find. The room was just gorgeous! It was extremely clean and cozy. It had all the amenities needed to make it feel like home. The staff was very helpful. They were ready to meet any of your requests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
One of the best Residence Inns I've stayed at. 1 bedroom suite was large, appeared newly renovated - very modern, stylish decor. And I had a full-size oven, though not all rooms do.

Staff was helpful and friendly, especially Ashley, Greg and Brandon and Michelle (sorry can't remember everyone's name, but all were great). Lot of variety of items in the Marketplace area, more so than other Marriotts I've been to. Also have an evening mixer with food and drinks 3x a week. Located at the outskirts of Michigan State, definitely a college town atmosphere. Recommend.
Confirmed reservation, platinum member, walked to another hotel 11pm. Only explanation ... computer issues... real issue “oversold!” General manager non responsive to written letter for explanation. Poorly managed, over rated. Needs new management. Shame on Marriott for poorly hired management and treatment of loyal “platinum” guests. Don’t risk being walked middle of the night. Book elsewhere .
